Minute-by-minute pricing saves you money

Pay only for the time you use – no rounding up!  We bill the actual show length plus 3 minutes for black and bars.  What exactly does “minute by minute” mean?  Here’s an example:  if you exceed 30 minutes by 4 or 5 minutes, you are not automatically going to be charged for a 40 or 60 minute dub – we only charge for the actual length of the project.   You pay a “minute-by-minute” price for the transfer plus the cost of the appropriate length tape stock.  We don’t round up on the length of the show.  This saves you money.

Price Protection

Show us a quote from a competing facility and we will beat it. Even after your job is completed we will refund the difference if you provide us with a lower quote within 10 days.

Job Status Notification

You get an email message as soon as your elements are in house, a second message when your job is in the Dubbing Queue, a third message when your job is actually being dubbed, and a fourth message when it is ready for delivery or pick up.

Quality Assurance

We perform a 10 point spot QC on every element including masters and dubs before the job is approved for delivery. Our technicians write their initials on every tape label showing that they are taking responsibility for the excellence of the work.

Familiarity with Network Specs

We have the specs and standard delivery orders for all the major broadcast and cable networks. We make sure you are within spec for your network.

Output from Files

We output from QuickTime files, Avid and Final Cut Pro.  There is a minimum half hour $75 set-up charge and $1 per minute for black and coding the stock. Regardless of your destination (HDCAM-SR, HDCAM, or Digital Betacam) use the clone rate to arrive at your price for the output plus the minimum half hour set-up time.

If your media requires special handling that exceeds the half hour set-up it is billed at $150 per hour plus the dub rate from the Dub Job Estimator.

Full Quality Control (optional)

If you need a written QC report we can provide that too at a very competitive additional charge.  If you need to fix picture or sound we can do that too.
