Kappa Studios Posts “HOMETOWN HEROES” for DirecTV

Burbank, April 2, 2008. The full service post-production facility has just completed HD editing, color correction and sound mixing for the new series premiering on Directv on April 6th. It is the latest addition to “The 101″ lineup on DIRECTV.

The series, set to run 10-espisodes, spotlights Americans whose acts of courage, kindness and bravery have made a profound impact on the lives of others. Hosted by Joan Lunden, DIRECTV® Hometown Heroes is a new and original series that chronicles several extraordinary DIRECTV customers each week. The human-interest series will focus on the motivations and positive effects these heroes have on the communities in which they live.
