Kappa Studios Posts “LINGO” for GSN
Burbank, January 30, 2003: Kappa Studios, Inc. announces completion of post-production for Gameshow Network’s top-rated show “Lingo”. The show, starring Chuck Woolery, first aired December 9, 2002. This is the second season of GSN’s redesigned game show (the first having been successfully produced in the Netherlands) and it has received much acclaim. Not only is Lingo televised, but viewers can log onto Gameshow Network’s website and play along in an interactive version of the show.
When asked about his experience working at Kappa Studios, Mark Rains, line producer for Lingo, says, “It’s good to have all elements of post production under one roof. [Kappa has] excellent editors…and a wonderful support staff that’s very accommodating.” Kappa senior editor Lee Mansis skillfully completed all 65 episodes in record time. As far as price, Kappa’s president Paul Long has this to say: “Because of today’s economy, we have become experts at perfecting post production logistics that save time and money for everyone.”
