Burbank, CA. Kappa Studios has completed three one hour Hi-Def shows airing on the Discovery Channel: “Tornadoes,” “Swarms and Stampedes”, and “Landslides”. All three shows start airing September 21st.

The producer, Creative Differences, is one of the top producers for Discovery and has produced more shows with more networks than any other American based production company. Kappa provided offline Avid editing suites, audio recording and mix, HD picture assembly and color correction.

“Tornadoes” analyzes the most destructive tornadoes ever caught on tape.  A mixture of 3D animation, HD interviews, and home video the show features eyewitness accounts from those who survived the storms and the footage they risked their lives to capture. “Swarms and Stampedes” features masses of animals and insects and some of the most incredible video ever shot. “Landslides” depicts one of nature’s most terrifying disasters, responsible for thousands of deaths around the world each year. Some of the most unforgettable landslides ever caught on tape are analyzed by scientists and their stories told by survivors.
