Burbank, CA At this month’s RED User Group LA meeting held at Kappa Studios Ted Schilowitz (“Leader of the Rebellion”) was on hand to show some of the new features of the RED One Build 16 firmware. One the new features demonstrated by Schilowitz on the Kappa dub stage was the addition of REDspace and RAW viewing modes. This allows for much more accurate exposure setting and helps ensure that no information is lost in the brighter portions of the scene. Read more

Burbank, CA August 8, 2008: Executive Producer Thom Fennessey of Collaboration Factory chose Kappa Studios to post the latest music video for the hip-hop band Flobots. The song “Rise” which calls for engaging in a civic change comes from the band’s album “Fight With Tools.”
